An interview with the leader and founder of the Kuban Partisan Movement\u2014for those who have decided they will no longer be mere spectators.<\/h2>\n\n

While official reports speak of stability and major media aggregators produce a noise of disjointed videos, work “in the field” is handled quite differently. Today we are speaking with Yuzhak, the leader of one of the most prominent and effective groups of the Russian resistance: the Kuban Partisan Movement (KPD). <\/p>\n\n

KPD is not a Telegram “project” or a branch of foreign structures. It is a natural phenomenon arising from the specifics of southern Russia, its geography, and its tradition of a love for freedom. They are not interested in “hype”; their strikes hit the target directly because they understand that every successful step in the rear means lives saved at the front. <\/p>\n\n

In this interview, we decided to go beyond a simple description of actions. We asked direct questions about how modern partisan logistics work. And\u2014most importantly\u2014what intellectual and technical assistance is needed at this moment for partisan actions to become a systemic factor in the near future. <\/p>\n\n

This interview is intended for those who have stopped being mere spectators and are looking for a way to become a useful “eye,” “mind,” or resource.<\/p>\n\n

How has the nature of your operations changed over the past year? Is your security system more vigilant? Is the guerrilla mindset adapting to changing circumstances? <\/h4>\n\n

The nature of operations has changed; we pay more attention to security during operations, preparation, and reconnaissance of the planned target. This has undoubtedly been reflected in the number of sabotage acts carried out. The objectives remain essentially the same. <\/p>\n\n

We are monitoring new ways in which the regime attempts to restrict civil liberties. This involves the implementation of various surveillance technologies, video surveillance, SORM technologies, etc. Sometimes we must abandon an action if it is too dangerous or if we cannot guarantee the safe evacuation of a fighter. Yes, the regime uses technology to fight its own citizens. The number of cameras has increased exponentially. <\/p>\n\n

What technologies\u2014communications, optics, drones, software\u2014are you critically lacking to minimize risks for the resistance movement? Not theoretically, but in practice? <\/h4>\n\n

Drones, of course. We are working hard on this and much has already been achieved. Once we even carried out an operation using a home-made drone. It is a very interesting topic; drones are definitely the future of the resistance. <\/p>\n\n

What kind of help with drones is needed\u2014assembly or control tips, 3D printing?<\/h4>\n\n

We have specialists, so the priority is financial resources for procurement.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

What is more important to you: people, material aid, information\u2014or something else?<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

The safety of our fighters comes first, but that is only possible with information.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Are there any resources that society underestimates, but without which the resistance simply would not function?<\/h4>\n

Society underestimates the information resources that have been writing about the resistance since the very beginning of the war.<\/p>\n

For example, this server, where I now have the honor of providing this interview. The topic of resistance needs to be promoted; it is important. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What is the hardest thing to replace under constant pressure and persecution?<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

The loss of a fighter. Those who are experienced and proven cannot be replaced. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What drives you forward when resources are running low and gratitude seems nowhere in sight?<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

Since the beginning of this hell, there has been no other way. Photos of murdered Ukrainian children provoke rage and a massive desire to stop this madness. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

If someone in Russia or abroad wants to help you, what form of support do you consider the safest and most effective at this time?<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

Any support is important, whether informational or material. We offer secure ways to help the KPD. We consider assistance with spreading information about the resistance in Russia to be very important. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

What would you say to those who are already mentally prepared to help or get involved, but do not yet know where to start?<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

I recommend contacting us or another organization through secure communication channels. There is work for everyone who is willing to fight; together we will surely win. Kuban will be free! <\/p>\n
