A well-known Russian surgeon and traumatologist who left Russia for Estonia with his family in the autumn of 2022. He regularly travels to Kyiv, where he volunteers to train military surgeons and perform operations on Ukrainian soldiers. He supports Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine and represents Russian democratic forces in PACE.
