The Resistance attacked missile transport routes

The Russian resistance movement Freedom of Russia reports on its coordinated sabotage action against the railway infrastructure used to transport Kh-101 missiles to the Engels-2 military airfield. The attacks led to significant delays in the delivery of strategic missiles and components for the Russian Air Force.

The Freedom of Russia Resistance Movement attacked missile transport routes for the Engels-2 airfield

The Engels-2 military airfield is increasingly being used not as a site for combat sorties by fighter jets, but as a specialized location for arming Tu-95 aircraft with Kh-101 missiles.

The main production of these cruise missiles is concentrated at the MKB Raduga (Dubna) and MKB Vympel (Moscow) plants. These sites also handle their modernization with improved heat flare launch systems to overcome air defenses and cluster warheads.

The logistics and delivery of Kh-101 missiles to the airbase are carried out primarily in two ways: Il-76 aircraft and freight train sets. Due to the production plan for the missiles being exceeded, the railway has begun to be used much more frequently.

The transport route from the production plants to the Anisovsky station (the final point where the missiles wait for transport directly into the closed area of the airfield) passes through several critical logistical hubs:

  • Lyubertsy – a hub station in the Moscow region, where wagons from Raduga and Vympel are joined into a single train.
  • Michurinsk – a large marshalling yard in the middle of the transit route.
  • Saratov – a freight hub where additional inspection of wagon contents is performed before transport across the Volga.
  • Anisovsky – a marshalling yard and the final point of railway deliveries, where wagons with components for aircraft repairs are also assembled.

The planned comprehensive strike on the railway infrastructure in various regions of Russia led to significant delays on this route. Delivery schedules for strategic missiles and components for the airbase were disrupted, which noticeably affected the Kremlin’s plans regarding the number of massive missile attacks.

The regime has once again proven to be completely helpless against our coordinated and precisely targeted actions.
