Former head of the Gazprom press department and later Vice President of Gazprombank, a Russian from Ukraine, he left Russia in 2022 and joined the Freedom of Russia Legion in Ukraine. He subsequently fought in the ZSU, was wounded near Bakhmut and decorated, and holds Ukrainian citizenship. In 2026, he became the spokesperson for the Black Spark resistance initiative.
