A volunteer unit composed primarily of Belarusian citizens fighting within the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Russian invasion. It was established in July 2023 as part of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade. The unit was deployed to the most vulnerable sectors of the front while simultaneously providing training for new Belarusian volunteers. Its members considered the defense of Ukraine a prerequisite for the future liberation of Belarus from Alexander Lukashenko’s regime and collaborated with the Belarusian democratic emigration and organizations supporting their activities. According to available sources, the unit ceased operations in the summer of 2024.
