Twice convicted and subjected to repressive psychiatry for “anti-Soviet propaganda” (1976, 1982). Since 2014, he has openly spoken out against Russian aggression toward Ukraine. In April 2024, he was arrested for “justifying terrorism.” In June 2025, he was sentenced to 16 years.
