CIVIC INITIATIVES
In response to human rights violations, the restriction of freedoms, and the military aggression of authoritarian regimes, civic initiatives are emerging. Despite pressure and repression, they confront these phenomena, stand against the fury of war, help those in need, and address problems that the regimes ignore. Their activities are often semi-legal or illegal out of necessity, with minimal or zero support and resources.
However, they are the cornerstone of regime change, which is unthinkable without an active civil society.
